Do you offer nutrition coaching in Bangkok at Dennis Romatz?

Yes! I offer nutrition coaching in BangkokAs a nutritionist with a university minor education in nutrition, I'm well equipped with the education, expertise, and tools to help you with goal-appropriate meal plans and become healthier through dietary recommendations and molding positive eating habits.  With my nutrition coaching, I go deeper than other Bangkok coaches who teach basic principles and eating accountability. Nutritional guidance and coaching are included in your personal training program for free and are integrated into every session. This is the clear advantage you get when training with me rather than with unqualified coaches. 

What should I expect during my first training session with Dennis Romatz?

Your first session spends a great deal of time asking appropriate questions about your current training, nutrition and eating patterns, and lifestyle, as well as listening to your goals, requirements, and desired training outcomes.  Your first trial session, complete with comprehensive assessments and evaluations, is packed with a battery of exercise testing with body fat measurements and several functional movement screens and mobility tests, which provide me with the data necessary to design your most goal-appropriate and efficient training program. When possible, I also send my clients to Samitivej Hospital to get an InBody Body Composition Scan that details their levels of body fat percentage and muscle mass. Your first trial session is focused on listening to your needs, accurately assessing your body, designing your best personal training program, and mapping a strategic and holistic training plan with proven systems to get you to your goals quickly.

What facilities and fitness equipment are available for training at Dennis Romatz?

Most of the residences in Bangkok are newer and well-equipped gyms, fully stocked with new cardio machines such as stationary cycles, recumbent bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines, and more from Techno Gym, Life Fitness, Matrix, and Stex as well as Assault Air Runner treadmills, Assault Air Bikes, Concept 2 Rowers and Concept 2 SkiErgs.  Additionally, they have functional training, and strength training fitness equipment including machines, cable machines, dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, fitness bands, slam balls, medicine balls, sandbags, fitness ropes, and more.  Many also have yoga mats, foam rollers, massage balls, Pilates rings and Pilates blocks. I live at a location with one of the best gyms in Bangkok.  
My private gym has all of the aforementioned fitness equipment as well as a Smith machine, a full-size boxing ring, Muay Thai Kickboxing gloves, pads, and a hanging bag.
All my clients are welcome to train with me there with no annual membership or daily fees.  My gym is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok near the Sukhumvit Road & Asoke Road intersection.

Can you train me with medical conditions or injuries?

Yes, I can train you with post-physio exercise protocols and methodologies, provided you have clearance from your doctor or physiotherapist. To be clear, although my programs work toward optimal health, they are not intended as a replacement for medical advice. However, if you have the green light for exercise from your medical professionals, understand the nature of an ailment, injury, or medical condition, and need a coach who will work with you to customize your regime accordingly, you are in the right place.

Do I need to join a gym to train with you?

No, because each program is written on a bespoke basis. I will work with whatever fitness equipment you have available to you at your home or condo gym. If you do not have gym access and are in need of some pieces of equipment to achieve your goal, I will make those recommendations.

What's even better is that I come to your condo gym so we can use the equipment on offer there. Bangkok condo gyms are usually quite well equipped with more than enough to get great workouts in.

What if I travel a lot for work?

I understand that many of my clients are corporate professionals with upper-level positions that require a lot or at least some travel for work.

In the event that you travel, I will arrange live online fitness coaching where we will use our devices and go live on video so that you never have to miss a session with me. Alternatively, I can write a workout plan for you to do in your hotel room or hotel gym outdoors.

I try as much as possible to be flexible with scheduling, taking into consideration that clients will travel. Also, if my clients know they have upcoming travel plans, I will arrange time in my schedule to do more workout sessions prior to their travel.

I do have a rule that my clients must inform me at least two weeks prior to any travel plans they have. Not notifying me of your future travel plans will result in you losing your dedicated training days and time slots.

Travel does not exclude you from my rules of session package expiry date.

How long before I see results?

Everyone I train is excited and ready to see results on the first day, and to be real, you will! You'll be tired! This means you've worked your body in ways that you haven't in a long time, or maybe ever!

It typically takes 7-14 days or 5-7 workouts to increase your VO2 (increase your fitness level) to get you in tip top shape where you'll feel very different and energized. Your energy level will be boosted and you'll be amazed at being able to do daily tasks that previously left you exhausted. Increasing your VO2, or your fitness level is a necessary precursor to any other fitness goal because I need to get my clients fit enough to be able to perform at high intensity levels to accomplish any goal.

You'll see a difference in the mirror after about 2-3. You'll notice your slimmer appearance. Your cheeks will be the first part of your body to be slim. The last part of your body to become slimmer will be your belly, but simply because people carry the most fat in that region.

Generally peaking, you'll feel energetic in two weeks and you'll see a physical difference in 3-4 weeks.

It's important to note that I do guarantee your training results.
